Borovoy’s resume of community service cannot be condensed into a few words. The community positions Borovoy has held throughout the years and the recognitions he’s received are plentiful: Special Commendation, San Diego Mayor Maureen O’Connor; Special Commendation, San Diego City Councilmember John Hartley; Crystal Hart Award by Update newsmagazine; Mosaic Wolf Emperor of The Imperial Court de San Diego, Inc.  Borovoy even has a day named after him – City Councilmember Toni Atkins proclaimed May 13 “Aaron Borovoy” Day in the Third District
